3GPP - Kabira is a Guest Member of the 3GPP.

The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) unites telecommunications standards bodies - as “Organizational Partners”.

The original scope of 3GPP was to produce Technical Specifications and Technical Reports for a 3G Mobile System based on evolved GSM core networks.

The scope was subsequently amended to include the maintenance and development of the Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) Technical Specifications and Technical Reports including evolved radio access technologies (e.g. General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE)).

GSMA - Kabira is an Associate Member of the GSMA.
The GSMA represents the interests of the worldwide mobile communications industry.

Spanning 219 countries, the GSMA unites nearly 800 of the world’s mobile operators, as well as more than 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset makers, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies, and media and entertainment organisations.
