Fluency pairs a Java development environment with the Kabira runtime – opening up the opportunity to more quickly bring the benefits of Kabira technology to Java-based development teams. Fluency also enables Kabira’s customers, ecosystem, and channel partners to develop highly available distributed transactional applications using standard Java programming tools, models and frameworks.
Fluency transparently extends the standard Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and includes an enhanced Sun HotSpot™ Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to support enterprise class features that can be designed, deployed, and tested emulating multi-server configurations on a single development laptop. With this development and testing capability, ordinary Java code can take advantage of features that would otherwise require the integration and use of 3rd party databases, application servers, message queues, fault-tolerant servers, and similar products.
