Kabira’s 64-bit memory-resident platform is capable of executing more than 50,000 transactions per second running on standard open systems hardware. Since Kabira’s products execute all transactions in high-speed memory, transactions execute up to 100 times faster than with disk-based systems.

Fluency supports a Java-enabled option that pairs a Java development environment with the Kabira runtime – opening up the opportunity to more quickly bring the benefits of Kabira technology to Java-based application.
Fluency enables Kabira’s communication service provider customers and channel partners to develop highly available distributed transactional applications using standard Java programming models. Fluency extends the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to support enterprise class features that can then be used to create new services on top of those already they have already deployed on the Kabira software solution. With this capability, ordinary Java code can take advantage of features that would require the integration and use of 3rd party databases, application servers, message queues, and other products.
